About Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules:

Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpule belongs to the group of medicines called bronchodilators, indicated for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

Each 2.5 ml Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules contains Levosalbutamol Sulphate equivalent to Levosalbutamol 0.31 mg.

Levosalbutamol is a selective beta-2-adrenergic agonist. It acts on the beta-2 adrenoceptors of the bronchial muscle and opens up the small airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. Therefore, prevent or relieve symptoms (wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness) of bronchospasm, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Uses of Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules:

Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules are prescribed for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

It is also indicated for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm in patients 4 years of age and older.

Usage Direction of Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules:

  • Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules are intended for inhalation use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
  • Please check the package insert leaflet before use.

Precaution & Related information of Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Salbair Neb 0.31 Transpules with any other medication.
  • Caution: Damage caused to the transpule may result in contamination of the product. Do not use the product if the solution is discoloured, contains foreign particles or found leaking when squeezed.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
