About Ryzodeg Penfill /100 IU/ml: 

Ryzodeg 70/30 is a soluble insulin analogue consisting of ultra-long acting basal insulin degludec and rapid acting prandial insulin aspart. Ryzodeg 70/30 is a ready-to-use, clear, colourless, neutral solution. Ryzodeg 70/30 is a solution for injection

1 ml of the solution contains 100 IU insulin degludec/insulin aspart (70% soluble insulin degludec and 30% soluble insulin aspart) equivalent to 2.56 mg salt-free anhydrous insulin degludec and 1.05 mg salt-free anhydrous insulin aspart. One 3 ml cartridge contains 300 IU of insulin degludec/insulin aspart.

Use Of Ryzodeg Penfill:

Ryzodeg 70/30 is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with Diabetes Mellitus. Ryzodeg may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. This medicine helps in the utilization of glucose and controlling blood glucose levels in such patients.

Usage Direction Of Ryzodeg Penfil:

• Do not dilute or mix Ryzodeg 70/30 with any other insulin products or solutions.
• Administered subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen.
• Rotate injection sites to reduce risk of lipodystophy and localized cutaneous amyloidosis.
• Individualize dose based on type of diabetes, metabolic needs, blood glucose monitoring results.
• Administered subcutaneously as directed by the physician.
• Ryzodeg 70/30 Penfill is designed to be used with Novo Nordisk insulin delivery systems and Novo Fine disposable needles.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of the package insert.

Precaution & Related Information Of Ryzodeg Penfill:

• Never share Ryzodeg 70/30  pen between patients, even if the needles is changed.
• If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your doctor or health care provider.
• If you find any other complication during taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
• Never skip the dose.
• Take precaution during the use of the Ryzodeg 70/30 penfill in case of hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia and hyperkalemia.
• Pregnancy & lactation: There are no available data with Ryzodeg 70/30 or insulin degludec in pregnant women to inform a drug-associate risk for major birth defects and miscarriage and on the presence of Ryzodeg 70/30 or insulin degludec in human milk, the effects on the breastfeed infant, or the effect on milk production.  
• Unused Ryzodeg 70/30 should be stored between 36ºF to 46ºF (2ºC to 8ºC). Do not store in the freezer or directly adjacent to the refrigerator cooling element. Do not use Ryzodeg  70/30 if it has been frozen.
