About Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge :

Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge is a soluble insulin analogue consisting of ultra-long acting basal insulin degludec and rapid acting prandial insulin aspart. Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge is a ready-to-use, clear, colourless, neutral solution. Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge is a solution for injection

1 ml of the solution contains 100U insulin degludec/insulin aspart (70% soluble insulin degludec and 30% soluble insulin aspart) equivalent to 2.56 mg salt-free anhydrous insulin degludec and 1.05 mg salt-free anhydrous insulin aspart. One 3 ml cartridge contains 300U of insulin degludec/insulin aspart.

Use Of Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge :

Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with Diabetes Mellitus. Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. This medicine helps in the utilization of glucose and controlling blood glucose levels in such patients.

Usage Direction Of Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge :

• Do not dilute or mix Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge with any other insulin products or solutions.
• Administered subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen.
• Rotate injection sites to reduce risk of lipodystophy and localized cutaneous amyloidosis.
• Individualize dose based on type of diabetes, metabolic needs, blood glucose monitoring results.
• Administered subcutaneously as directed by the physician.
• Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge is designed to be used with Novo Nordisk insulin delivery systems and Novo Fine disposable needles.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of the package insert.

Precaution & Related Information Of Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge :

• Never share Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge between patients, even if the needles is changed..
• If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your doctor or health care provider.
• If you find any other complication during taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
• Never skip the dose.
• Take precaution during the use of the Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge in case of hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia and hyperkalemia.
• Pregnancy & lactation: There are no available data with Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge or insulin degludec in pregnant women to inform a drug-associate risk for major birth defects and miscarriage and on the presence of Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge or insulin degludec in human milk, the effects on the breastfeed infant, or the effect on milk production.  
• Unused Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge should be stored between 36ºF to 46ºF (2ºC to 8ºC). Do not store in the freezer or directly adjacent to the refrigerator cooling element. Do not use Ryzodeg Penfill 100U/ml Cartridge if it has been frozen.
