About Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml  Pen:

Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen is a soluble insulin analogue consisting of ultra-long acting basal insulin degludec and rapid acting prandial insulin aspart. Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen is a ready-to-use, clear, colourless, neutral solution. Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen is a solution for injection.

1 ml of the Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen solution contains 100U insulin degludec/insulin aspart (70% soluble insulin degludec and 30% soluble insulin aspart) equivalent to 2.56 mg salt-free anhydrous insulin degludec and 1.05 mg salt-free anhydrous insulin aspart. glycerol, metacresol, phenol, sodium chloride, zinc acetate, hydrochloric acid & sodium hydroxide (for PH adjustment) and water for injections. One pre-filled pen contains 300U of insulin degludec/insulin aspart in 3 ml solution.

Use of Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml  Pen:

Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with Diabetes Mellitus. Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. This medicine helps in the utilization of glucose and controlling blood glucose levels in such patients.

Usage Direction of Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen:

  • Administered subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen.
  • Rotate injection sites to reduce risk of lipodystophy and localized cutaneous amyloidosis
  • Administered subcutaneously once or twice daily as directed by the physician.
  • Individualize dose based on type of diabetes, metabolic needs, blood glucose monitoring results.
  • For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of the package insert.
Precaution & Related Information of Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen:

  • Never share Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen between patients, even if the needles is changed..
  • If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your doctor or health care provider.
  • If you find any other complication during taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
  • Never skip the dose.
  • Take precaution during the use of the Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen in case of hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia and hyperkalemia.
  • Pregnancy & lactation: There are no available data with Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen or insulin degludec in pregnant women to inform a drug-associate risk for major birth defects and miscarriage and on the presence of Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen or insulin degludec in human milk, the effects on the breastfeed infant, or the effect on milk production.
  • Unused Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen should be stored between 36ºF to 46ºF (2ºC to 8ºC). Do not store in the freezer or directly adjacent to the refrigerator cooling element. Do not use Ryzodeg Flextouch 100U/ml Pen if it has been frozen.
