About Rivotril 0.25 mg Tablet:

Each uncoated Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet contains Clonazepam 0.25 mg and Excipients q.s.

Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet is a long-acting and high-potency benzodiazepine that works by enhancing the activity of certain neurotransmitters (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the brain, which helps to decrease the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells and calms the brain.

Use of Rivotril 0.25 mg Tablet:

Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet contains clonazepam that belongs to a group of medications called benzodiazepines.

• Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various epileptic conditions such as absence seizures (petit mal), Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (petit mal variant), akinetic and myoclonic seizures.
• Additionally, Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet is also prescribed for the treatment of patients with co-morbid depression and panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia.

Usage direction of Rivotril 0.25 mg Tablet:

• Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Rivotril 0.25 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
