About Ripatec Eye Drop:

Ripatec Eye Drop is advised for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Each Ripatec Eye Drop contains Ripasudil Hydrochloride Hydrate Equivalent to Ripasudil 0.4% w/v, Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% w/v (As Preservative) and Sterile Aqueous Vehicle q.s.

Ripasudil is a highly selective and potent Rho-associated coiled/coil-containing kinase protein (ROCK) inhibitor. Rho-kinase (ROCK) is an effector protein of Rho which binds with Rho to form a Rho/Rho-kinase complex. This complex then regulates many physiological functions including smooth muscle contractions, chemotaxis, neural growth and gene expression.

Use of Ripatec Eye Drop:

Ripatec Eye Drop is used to prescribe for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension when other medicine for glaucoma have insufficient effect or cannot be used.

Usage direction of Ripatec Eye Drop:

• Ripatec Eye Drop is intended for ophthalmic use only in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Before applying this eye drop, wash hands first.
• Turn the pillerproof cap anti-clockwise to break the seal.
• Remove the cap, dispense drops with gentle pressure.
• Replace the cap after every use.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Don’t use more than the prescribed quantity.
• It is advised to check the label or package insert leaflet before apply.

Precaution & Related information of Ripatec Eye Drop:

• Ripatec Eye Drop is for external use only, not for injection
• If allergic to Ripatec Eye Drop, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult with the physician.
• Do not touch the nozzle tip to any surface as this may contaminate the solution.
• Use the solution within one month after opening the container.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Ripatec Eye Drop:

• Store below 25°C.
