About Retentio Eye Drops:
Retentio Eye Drops is prescribed for the treatment of dry eyes. It contains Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose that helps retain clear vision and longer drug contact with the eye. It is also used as artificial tears for people with dry eyes and increases the growth of cells for wound healing.
Composition:
Each ml contains:
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose: 3.0 mg, Sodium Perborate BP: 0.028% w/v (As Preservative), Aqueous Buffered Vehicle: q.s.
It contains Dextran 70, Glycerin, Buffering agents and Tonicity adjusting agents.
Uses Of Retentio Eye Drops:
- Used for treating dry eye.
- Helps retain clear vision and longer drug contact with the eye.
- It increases the growth of cells for wound healing.
- It is also used as artificial tears for people with dry eyes.
Usage Direction Of Retentio Eye Drops:
- Retentio Eye Drops is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
- Do not skip or stop using Retentio Eye Drops without the physician’s advice.
- Do not apply more than the recommended dose.
- Before using, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.
Precaution & Other Related Information Of Retentio Eye Drops:
- If allergic to any ingredients of Retentio Eye Drops, let the physician know straight away.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- Retentio Eye Drops is not used for injection.
