About Renicol Eye Ointment:

Renicol eye ointment contains Chloramphenicol (1% w/w) as an active ingredient in an Ointment base q.s. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic class of medication acts upon various bacterial eye infection. Renicol eye ointment is intended for ophthalmic use only.

Use of Renicol Eye Ointment:

Renicol eye ointment contains the active ingredient Chloramphenicol which is indicated for the treatment of bacterial eye infection caused by susceptible organisms.

Usage direction of Renicol Eye Ointment:

  • Renicol eye ointment should be applied in the eye as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will advise the right dose and the duration of use as per the patient condition.
  • Unscrew white assembly & discard spacing ring.
  • Refit the white assembly, screw it firmly down to puncture the diaphragm.
  • Remove small cap & squeeze tube for use.
  • Sterile until opened.
  • Use within one month after opening the tube.

Precaution & Related Information of Renicol Eye Ointment:

  • If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use and consult physician.
  • Replace the cap after every use.
  • Pregnancy and Lactation: Please consult with physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Store in a cool & dry place.
