About Recita 10 mg Tablet
Recita 10 mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used in the treatment of depression and other mental health conditions.
Each film-coated Recita 10 mg Tablet contains Escitalopram Oxalate equivalent to Escitalopram 10 mg.
Escitalopram is the S-enantiomer of the racemic derivative citalopram with an antidepressant, anti-obsessive-compulsive and antibulimic properties. It selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin thereby enhancing the actions of serotonin in the central nervous system.
Use of Recita 10 mg Tablet:
Recita 10 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.
Usage Direction of Recita 10 mg Tablet:
- Recita 10 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the psychiatrist.
- Recita 10 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the psychiatrist’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
Precaution & Related information of Recita 10 mg Tablet:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Recita 10 mg Tablet, inform the psychiatrist immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the psychiatrist immediately.
