About Rabigal 20 mg Tablet:
Rabigal 20 mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastric ulcer, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Each enteric-coated Rabigal 20 mg Tablet contains Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg.
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by the inhibition of H+/K+-ATPase enzyme at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cells. By this action, it prevents the production of acid in the stomach.
Use of Rabigal 20 mg Tablet:
Rabigal 20 mg Tablet is used to reduce the excessive acid production in the stomach. It is prescribed for the treatment of the following conditions:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- Excessive acidic condition of the stomach such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
- Damaged esophagus, which is caused by stomach acid (Erosive esophagitis).
- Gastric ulcer, which is either caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection or induced by drugs.
Usage Direction of Rabigal 20 mg Tablet:
- Rabigal 20 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Physician.
- Rabigal 20 mg Tablet should be swallowed whole.
- Do not chew or crush the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
Precaution & Related information of Rabigal 20 mg Tablet:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Rabigal 20 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
