Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine (adsorbed) Ph.eur13-valent

About Prevenar 13 Vaccine:

Each single dose (0.5ml) pre-filled syringe contains 2.2 µg of saccharide for serotype 1,3,4,5,6A, 7F,9V,14,18C,19A, 19F and 23F and 4.4µg of saccharide for serotype 6B conjugated to about 32 µg of CRM197 Protein and adsorbed on aluminium phosphate (0.125mg aluminium).

Inactive ingredients: Sodium Chloride, Succinic Acid, Polysorbate 80 and Water for Injection.

Use of Prevenar 13 Vaccine :

Prevenar 13 Vaccine is prescribed for immunization for the prevention of pneumonia.

Usage direction of Prevenar 13 Vaccine :

  • Prevenar 13 Vaccine is for parenteral use only.
  • Read the enclosed leaflet before use.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Physician or nurse will give this injection. Kindly do not self-administer.
  • Discard if the vaccine has been frozen.

Precaution & Related information of Prevenar 13 Vaccine :

  • If allergic to the vaccine or any other component of this vaccine, inform the physician immediately.
  • If find any complication, inform the physician immediately.
  • Consult with the physician, during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze. Store in original package.
