About Pixet CR 25 mg Tablet:

Pixet CR 25 mg tablet is an antidepressant medication used to treat adults with depression or anxiety disorders.

Each film-coated prolonged-release Pixet CR 25 mg Tablet contains Paroxetine Hydrochloride Hemihydrate equivalent to Paroxetine 25 mg.

Paroxetine is a potent selective inhibitor of serotonin reuptake from the brain synapse, thereby stimulating serotonin activity in the brain and relieving symptoms of depression & anxiety.

Uses of Pixet CR 25 mg Tablet:

Pixet CR 25 mg tablet is prescribed for treatment of the following conditions:

  • Major depressive disorder
  • Obsessive-Compulsive disorder
  • Generalized anxiety disorder
  • Panic disorder with or without agrophobia
  • Social anxiety disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, etc.

Usage Direction of Pixet CR 25 mg tablet:

  • Pixet CR 25 mg tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Pixet CR 25 mg tablet is to be swallowed as a whole.
  • Do not chew or crush the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Pixet CR 25 mg tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Pixet CR 25 mg tablet.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
