About Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet:

Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) indicated for symptomatic relief of pain in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Each dispersible uncoated Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet contains Piroxicam 20 mg.

Piroxicam belongs to a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory class of drug. It works by blocking COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandin, the compound responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body.

Use of Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet:

Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet is prescribed for relieving pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.

Usage Direction of Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet:

  • Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Drop a Pirox DT 20 mg Tablet in small amount of water and stir before administration.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
