About Pirox 20 mg Capsule:

Pirox 20 mg Capsule is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) indicated for symptomatic relief of pain in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Each hard gelatin Pirox 20 mg Capsule contains Piroxicam 20 mg.

Piroxicam belongs to a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory class of drug. It works by blocking COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandin, the compound responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body.

Use of Pirox 20 mg Capsule:

Pirox 20 mg Capsule is prescribed for relieving pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.

Usage Direction of Pirox 20 mg Capsule:

  • Pirox 20 mg Capsule is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Pirox 20 mg Capsule is to be taken orally with the help of water.
