About Pilocar 2% Eye Drops:

Pilocar 2% Eye Drop is indicated for the treatment of certain forms of glaucoma.

Each Pilocar 2% Eye Drop contains Pilocarpine Nitrate 2% w/v.

Pilocarpine belongs to a group of medicines called miotics that acts directly on cholinergic receptors within the eye. It allows the excess fluid to drain out from the eye, thus lowering the elevated eye pressure. It also helps to reverse the effect of drugs that cause the pupil of the eye to get bigger.

Use of Pilocar 2% Eye Drops:

Pilocar 2% Eye Drops is a miotic group of medicines prescribed for the treatment of certain forms of glaucoma by lowing the high pressure inside the eye. Therefore, helping to prevent vision loss and nerve damage.

Usage Direction of Pilocar 2% Eye Drops:

• Pilocar 2% Eye Drop is intended for external use only, as directed by the physician.
• Tighten the cap on the nozzle.
• The spike in the cap will pierce the tip of the vial.
• Dispense drops with gentle pressure.
• Replace the cap after every use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not use more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Pilocar 2% Eye Drops:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Pilocar 2% Eye Drops, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult with the physician.
• Do not touch the vial tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant usage of this eye drop with any other medicines.
• Pilocar 2% Eye Drop is not for injection.
• Use the solution within one month after opening the vial.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Pilocar 2% Eye Drops:

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light.
