About Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet:

Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet is used to treat nausea, vomiting, & migraines associated with various conditions. It can also be used to manage vertigo (dizziness), schizophrenia, acute mania, and anxiety in short term.

Each uncoated mouth dissolving Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet contains Prochlorperazine Maleate 5 mg.

Prochlorperazine is a phenothiazine antipsychotic. It influences the activity of certain brain cells by decreasing the effect of dopamine, a natural chemical in the brain. It also depresses the releases of hypothalamic and hypophyseal hormones, thus affecting basal metabolism, body temperature, wakefulness, vasomotor tone, and emesis.

Uses of Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet:

Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet is prescribed for the following:

  • Treat the symptoms of nausea, and vomiting, migraines caused by various conditions.
  • Treat vertigo (dizziness) associated with Meniere’s syndrome or labyrinthitis (an inner ear disorder).
  • Manage symptoms of mental disorders such as schizophrenia, acute mania, and anxiety in short term.

Usage Direction of Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet:

  • Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet is to be kept in mouth until dissolves completely.
  • Do not to swallow the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Pharmazin md 5 mg Tablet.
