About Pernil 5% Cream:
Pernil 5% Cream is an anti-parasitic medication indicated for the treatment of scabies and lice infestation.
Each g of Pernil 5% Cream contains Permethrin 50.0 mg.
Permethrin belongs to an anti-parasitic class of medication. It affects the sodium transport channel, thus causing depolarization and leading to the death of the affected parasites. It also kills head lice and their eggs, which causes intense itching.
Use of Pernil 5% Cream:
Pernil 5% Cream is prescribed for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis capitis (Head lice and nits), where tiny insects infest and irritate the skin.
Usage Direction of Pernil 5% Cream:
- Pernil 5% Cream is intended for external use only under medical supervision.
- Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
- Do not skip or stop the application without the physician’s advice.
- Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity.
- Before application of this cream, please check the package insert, that comes with the product.
