About Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution:

Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution is used for gastrointestinal lavage. It is formulated with Polyethylene Glycol and Electrolytes that is used for bowel cleaning prior to colonoscopy, colorectal surgery and barium meal X-ray examination.

Composition:

Each pack (137.15 g) contains:

Polyethylene Glycol: 118.00 g, Sodium Chloride: 2.930 g, Potassium Chloride: 1.484 g, Sodium Bicarbonate: 3.370 g, Anhydrous Sodium Sulphate: 11.360 g.

With the choice of flavours Pineapple or Orange.

Uses Of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution:

•   Used for gastrointestinal lavage.
•   Used for bowel cleaning prior to colonoscopy, colorectal surgery and barium meal X-ray examination.

Usage Direction Of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution:

•   Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   Empty the contents of one pack of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution powder into 1 litre of clean drinking water and stir well to dissolve it. Thereafter pour another litre of water into the prepared solution, to make it 2 liters of solution. To improve the taste, if necessary, one of the flavoring agents provided in the pack can be mixed in Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution.
•   Pour one glassful (200 ml) of prepared solution and drink. Repeat drinking 200 ml every 10-15 minutes such that 1000 ml is consumed in one hour.
•   The first bowel movement can occur approximately 1 hour after the start of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution consumption.
•   Continue drinking the remainingPegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution, until the stool becomes water like (colourless or yellowish) and without any solid matter.
•   Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
•   Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution:

•   If allergic to any ingredients of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution, let the physician know straight away.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with with any other medicines or supplements.
•   Use the prepared Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution immediately. Do not store the solution for use later.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
•   Keep out of reach of children.

Storage Condition Of Pegwash (Pineapple or Orange Flavour) Oral Solution:

•   Keep in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture.
