About Paro CR 12.5 mg Tablet:

Paro CR 12.5 mg tablet is an antidepressant medication used to treat adults with depression or anxiety disorders.

Each Paro CR 12.5 mg tablet contains Paroxetine Hydrochloride Hemihydrate equivalent to Paroxetine 12.5 mg.

Paroxetine is a potent selective inhibitor of serotonin reuptake from the brain synapse, thereby stimulating serotonin activity in the brain and relieving symptoms of depression & anxiety.

Uses of Paro CR 12.5 mg Tablet:

Paro CR 12.5 mg tablet is prescribed for treatment of the following conditions:

  • Major depressive disorder
  • Obsessive-Compulsive disorder
  • Generalized anxiety disorder
  • Panic disorder with or without agoraphobia
  • Social anxiety disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, etc.

Uses Direction of Paro CR 12.5 mg Tablet:

  • Paro CR 12.5 mg tablet is intended for oral use only in a dose & direction as advised by the physician.
  • Paro CR 12.5 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
