Composition:

Each pre-filled pen contains 2 mg semaglutide in 1.5 ml solution (1.34 mg/ml).

Each dose contains 0.25 mg of semaglutide in 0.19 ml solution.

Excipients: Disodium phosphate, dihydrate 1.42 mg, Propylene Glycol 14.0 mg, Phenol 5.50 mg, Hydrochloric acid q.s. (for pH adjustment), Sodium Hydroxide q.s. (for pH adjustment), Water for injections to make 1.00 ml.

Patients using Ozempic should not take an extra dose to compensate for a missed dose.

In case of overdose, symptoms may include severe nausea, vomiting, and low blood sugar. Immediate medical attention is recommended. Supportive care and monitoring are usually required as there is no specific antidote for Ozempic Injection.

Contraindications of Ozempic 0.25 mg Injection:

Do not use Ozempic 0.25 mg Injection if you are allergic or hypersensitive to Semaglutide or any of its components. Additionally, Ozempic is contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Ozempic should be avoided in individuals with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC). It is also not recommended for patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), a genetic disorder that increases the risk of thyroid cancer.

Ozempic 0.25 mg Injection is also contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) to Semaglutide or any of its excipient ingredients.
