About Oxyspray:
Oxyspray is a medicine indicated for relieving nasal congestion (blocked nose).
Each Oxyspray delivers Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 50 mcg.
Composition: Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.05% w/w.
Oxymetazoline is a nasal decongestant with selective alpha-2 agonistic action. Oxymetazoline narrows the small blood vessels and reduces blood flow in the inner surface of the nose by producing local vasoconstriction, therefore providing relief from nasal congestion.
Use of Oxyspray:
Oxyspray is prescribed to treat nasal congestion (Nose block) caused by a variety of conditions such as common cold, hay fever, and upper respiratory allergies.
Usage Direction of Oxyspray:
- Oxyspray is intended for intranasal use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Remove the protective cap. Gently shake the bottle.
- In case the nasal spray is used for the first time or it is being used after a long period, test-fire the spray.
- Close one nostril. Insert the nozzle of the bottle into other nostrils. Spray once into each nostril keeping hand upright.
- Shake well before each use.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not use more than the prescribed quantity.
Precaution & Related information of Oxyspray:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Oxyspray, inform the physician immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- The Physician should be well informed when concomitant use of this spray with any other medicines.
- Consult with the physician during pregnancy and lactation.
- Keep away from children.
Storage condition of Oxyspray:
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze.
