About Ocuvir Skin Cream:

Ocuvir cream contains Aciclovir 5% w/w, in a Cream base q.s.

Aciclovir is a synthetic purine nucleoside analogue with in vitro and in vivo inhibitory activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2), and varicella-zoster virus (VZV).

Use of Ocuvir Skin Cream:

Ocuvir cream is an antiviral cream indicated for the treatment of herpes labialis (cold sores) and recurrent herpes genitalis. It prevents the multiplication of the virus and therefore helps in clearing the infection.

Usage direction of Ocuvir Skin Cream:

• Ocuvir cream is intended for external use only.
• Wash your hands before and after each application.
• Replace the cap tightly closed after use.
• Please check the package leaflet of label instruction before application.
• Do not skip or stop the dose without physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Precaution & Related Information of Ocuvir Skin Cream:

• If allergic to this cream inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with physician during pregnancy & lactation. The use of ocuvir cream should be considered only when the potential benefits outweigh the possibility of unknown risks.
• Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
• Keep out of reach of children.
