About Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection:

Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection is used for the treatment of various cerebral injuries (stroke, dementia). Each ml Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection contains Citicoline Sodium equivalent to Citicoline 250 mg, Methyl paraben 0.18% w/v (as preservative), Propyl paraben 0.02% w/v (as preservative).

Citicoline is a naturally occurring endogenous nucleoside involved in the biosynthesis of lecithin. It increases the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (main neuronal membrane phospholipid) and promotes acetylcholine production. It also enhances the blood flow and oxygen consumption in the brain.

Use of Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection:

Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection is prescribed for the treatment of disturbance of consciousness resulting from head injuries, brain operation, and acute stage of cerebral infarction.

Usage direction of Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection:

• Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection should be given through intravenous/intramuscular route.

• Nurocol-2 250 mg/ml Injection should be given by a medical practitioner, do not try to self-administered.

• Do not use, if it contains sediment, any floating object or discoloured.
