About Nugen Eye Drop:

Nugen Eye Drop is an antibiotic, used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infection.

Each Nugen Eye drop contains Ciprofloxacin Lactate equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 0.30% W/V, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 0.01% W/V, Benzalkonium Chloride Solution 0.02% W/V (as preservative), In aqueous buffered base q.s.

Ciprofloxacin acts on bacterial topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV.12 Ciprofloxacin's targeting of the alpha subunits of DNA gyrase prevents it from supercoiling the bacterial DNA which prevents DNA replication.

Phenylephrine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist indicated to dilate the pupil. Phenylephrine also used to relieve eye redness, dryness, burning, and irritation caused by wind, sun, and other irritants.

Nugen Eye drop is an antibacterial medication, used for the treatment of eye infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

Usage direction of Nugen Eye Drop:

  • Nugen Eye drop is intended for topical use only.
  • As per the patient conditions, physician will advise the proper dose and the duration of use.
  • Before using the medicine wash your hands first.
  • It is advised to check the label prior use.
  • Use the solution within one month after opening the container.
  • Replace the cap immediately after use.
  • Do not skip or stop the dose without doctor’s advice.
  • Do not use more than the prescribed quantity.
