About Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial :
Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial is a Insulin aspart injection. Each ml Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial solution contains 100 U (3.5 mg) of Insulin aspart (r-DNA origin), Phenol 1.5 mg, and Metacresol 1.72 mg (as preservatives) and Excipients q.s.
Use of Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial :
Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus.
Usage direction of Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial :
- Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
- Before using Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial know the administration process from the enclosed leaflet.
- Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
- Use only if solution is clear and colorless with no particles visible. Discard if floating particles found.
- Use the vial within 28 days from day of first use.
Precaution & Related information of Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial :
- If you find any complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
- If you are taking any medications & any other supplements please inform your physician.
- Please take precaution during the use of Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack, or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
- Storage: Store Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vials that are not being used between 2°C and 8°C in a refrigerator (not in or too near the freezer section or cooling element). Do not keep the Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial that you are using, or that you are carrying as a spare, in a refrigerator. You can use it up to 4 weeks below 30°C after taking it out of the refrigerator. Discard Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial after 4 weeks even if there is still some Novorapid 100 Units/ml Vial left in it.
