About Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge :
Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge is a Biphasic insulin aspart suspension for injection. Each ml Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge suspension contains 100 IU (3.5 mg) of insulin aspart (r-DNA origin), (Soluble Insulin Aspart and Protamine Crystallised Insulin Aspart 50:50), glycerol Ph Eur 16.0 mg, phenol Ph Eur, 1.50 mg, metacresol Ph Eur, 1.72 mg, zinc (as chloride) 19.6 µg, sodium chloride Ph Eur,1.17 mg, disodium phosphste dihydrate Ph Eur, 1.25 mg, protamine sulphate Ph Eur, approx. 0.23 mg, sodium hydroxide approx. 1.9 mg, hydrochloric acid approx 1.7 mg, water for injections Ph Eur, to make 1.0 ml.
Use of Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge :
Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.
Usage direction of Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge :
- Use Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
- Before using Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction from enclosed leaflet.
- Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge is administered subcutaneously into the thigh or abdominal wall and rotate injection sites.
- Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge should be uniformly white and cloudy suspensions. Do not use Novomix 50 Penfill 100 IU Cartridge if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.
