Nitrocontin 2.6 Tablet Overview:

Nitrocontin 2.6 Tablet is mainly prescribed to treat and prevent chest pain called angina pectoris resulting from coronary artery disease.

When our heart muscle does not receive enough oxygenated blood to function properly, it causes discomfort or pain known as angina. The discomfort is usually the result of narrowed or hardened arteries, which make it difficult for blood to flow to the heart.

Angina is a pressing or squeezing pain that is typically felt in the chest, under the breastbone; however, it can also be experienced in the arms, neck, shoulders, jaws, or back.

Nitrocontin 2.6 Tablets is a vasodilator medication that helps ease chest pain by relaxing the muscles of the blood vessels, which improves blood flow and increases the amount of oxygen-rich blood reaching the heart.

Composition of Nitrocontin 2.6 Tablet:

Each uncoated Nitrocontin 2.6 Tablet contains: Diluted Nitroglycerin equivalent to Nitroglycerin 2.6 mg (In a controlled release system).
