About Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm:
Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and gastric ulcer.
Each Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm contains Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate equivalent to Esomeprazole 10 mg (As enteric coated granules) in a flavoured base.
Esomeprazole is the S-isomer of omeprazole. It exerts its stomach acid-suppressing effects by blocking the final step in gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system present on the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cells.
Use of Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm:
Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm is prescribed for the treatment of:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- Excessive acidic condition of the stomach such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
- Damaged esophagus, which is caused by stomach acid (Erosive esophagitis).
- Gastric ulcer, which is either caused by helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, or induced by drugs.
Usage direction of Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm:
- Nexpro Junior Sachet 1 gm should be taken orally.
- Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before use.
- Do not chew or crush the content of sachet.
- The contents of each sachet should be emptied into a container containing 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of water. Stir the contents and leave for 1 to 2 minutes to thicken. Stir again and drink within 30 minutes. If any material remains after drinking, add more water, stir and drink immediately.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
