Mupon ointment is a Topical Antibiotic ointment intended for topical dermatological use only. Mupon ointment contains Mupirocin I.P. 2.0% w/w, in a non-greasy Ointment Base q.s.

Use Of Mupon Ointment

Mupon ointment is used to treat skin infections such as impetigo (red sores), recurring boils (carbuncle), folliculitis (inflammation in the hair follicles) and Secondary skin infections. It works by preventing bacteria from growing on your skin.

Usage Direction Of Mupon Ointment :

Mupon ointment should be applied topically as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will decide the right dose and the duration of use as per the patient condition.

  •   Clean and dry the affected areas thoroughly .
  •   Apply the ointment to form a thin layer on the affected skin and surrounding areas.
  •   Rub it gently. Do not use it on the face, groin, or underarms unless directed to do so by your doctor.
  •   Keep the tube closed when not in use.
Precaution & Related Information Of Mupon Ointment :

  •   Do not use Mupon ointment if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in the product.
  •   The ointment is for external use only. In case of use on the face, avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water.
  •   Do not use Mupon ointment on a child without medical advice.
  •   Pregnancy and Lactation: Do not use the ointment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised to by your doctor. Ask your doctor for advice before taking any medicine.
  •   Keep out of reach of children.
  •   Store protected from direct sunlight at a temperature below 25°C. Do not freeze.
