About Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup:

Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.

Each 5 ml of constituted suspension of Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 400 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 57 mg.

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.

Uses of Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup:

Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), skin & skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections in children.

Usage Direction of Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup:

• Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup is for paediatric use only.
• Shake the bottle well to loosen the powder.
• Add enclosed sterile water for constitution (supplied with this pack) to constitute the powder up to the ring shown on the bottle & shake well for .
• Discard remaining sterile water after constitution.
• Shake well constituted suspension before use.
• Please use the measuring cap that comes with the package for accurate measurement.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
• Please follow the instructions on the ampoule label for the constitution of sterile water.

Precaution & Related information of Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup with any other medication.
• Use the constituted suspension within 7 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Moxikind CV Forte Dry Syrup:

Store in a dark place at a temperature below 25°C. Protected from moisture.

After Constitution:

Keep the suspension in the refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C.
