About Moxclav 375 mg Tablet:

Moxclav 375 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.

Each film-coated Moxclav 375 mg Tablet contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 250 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 125 mg.

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.
