About Montair AB Tablet:
Each uncoated bilayered Montair AB tablet contains Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg (as immediate release form) and Acebrophyline 200 mg (as sustained release form).
Montelukast belongs to a class of medications called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). Montelukast is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) and to relieve allergic symptoms, such as a runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing. It works by blocking the action of substances in the body that cause the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.
Acebrophylline has both muco-regulating and bronchodilating properties. Acebrophylline is used to treat bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.
Use of Montair AB Tablet:
Montair AB tablet prescribed in following condition:

•Seasonal allergic rhinitis
•Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Usage direction of Montair AB Tablet:
Montair AB tablet is intended for oral use only.
Montair AB tablet should be swallowed whole and not to be chewed or crushed.

If any acute condition (cardiac or respiratory failure, severe chest pain, hypoxia, shock etc) occur during taking this medicine.
