About Momate  Ointment :

Momate ointment is a topical corticosteroid indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Momate ointment contains Mometasone Furoate, IP 0.1% w/w, in an Ointment base q.s. The active ingredient is Mometasone Furoate 0.1%.

Use of Momate Ointment :

Momate ointment contains the active ingredient Mometasone Furoate, is a synthetic corticosteroid which has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive properties applied on the surface of the skin to reduce the redness and itchiness caused by certain skin problems.

Usage direction of Momate  Ointment :

  • Momate ointment should be applied topically as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will decide the right amount and the duration of use as per the patient condition.
  • Apply a thin film of Momate ointment to the affected skin areas as directed.
  • Therapy should be discontinued when control is achieved.
  • If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of diagnosis may be necessary.
  • Wash your hands after applying Momate ointment.

Precaution & Related Information of Momate  Ointment :

  • Do not use Momate ointment if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in the product.
  • The ointment is for external use only.
  • Pregnancy and Lactation:  Please consult with physician during pregnancy & lactation. The topical corticosteroids should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the foetus. Caution should be exercised when Momate ointment is administered to a nursing mother.
  • Store in a cool place. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
