Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge is Biphasic Isophane Insulin injection (Monocomponent Biosynthetic r-DNA Insulin). Each ml suspension Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge contains 100 IU (3.5 mg) of Human Insulin (50% As Soluble Insulin And 50% As Isophane Insulin), Metacresol 1.5 mg and Phenol 0.65 mg (as preservatives) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge :

Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge may be used in both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge :

• Use Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
• Before using Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction from pack inside.
• Administer subcutaneously into the thigh or abdominal wall and rotate injection sites.
• Do not use Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.

• Do not share your Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
• Please take precaution during the use of Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• If you are taking any other medications and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
• Storage: Store between 2°C and 8°C in a refrigerator. Do not freeze. Protect from light. During use, Mixtard 50 HM Penfill 100 IU Inj Cartridge may be kept at room temperature below 30°C for up to 6 weeks.
