Composition/Salt

Metoclopramide 5mg + Paracetamol 500mg

About Metopar Tablet:

Metopar Tablet offers multimodal actions such as analgesic, anti-pyretic (relieves fever), anti-emetic (control vomiting), and prokinetic, indicated for relieving fever with vomiting.

Each uncoated Metopar Tablet contains Paracetamol 500 mg and Metoclopramide Hydrochloride equivalent to Anhydrous Metoclopramide Hydrochloride 5 mg.

Metoclopramide exerts prokinetic as well as antiemetic properties respectively. It increases muscle contractions that helps food move more easily through the digestive tract and prevents vomiting by inhibiting the release of dopamine and serotonin in the  brain.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic action by blocking the pain impulse generation and also produces antipyretic activity by inhibiting the heat-regulating center in the brain.
