About Megaburn 120 mg Capsule:

Each hard gelatin Megaburn 120 mg capsule contains Orlistat 120 mg (as pellets) and Excipients q.s.

Orlistat reversibly blocks gastrointestinal lipases. It inhibits the absorption of dietary fats by forming a covalent bond with the active serine residue site of the gastric and pancreatic lipases within the lumen of the stomach and small intestine, thus preventing the hydrolysis of dietary fat in the form of triglycerides into absorbable free fatty acids and monoglycerides.

Megaburn 120 mg capsule is prescribed for the treatment of obesity. It reversibly blocks gastrointestinal lipases and inhibits the absorption of fats from the small intestines and stomach.

• Megaburn 120 mg capsule is intended for oral use only in a dose & direction as advised by the physician.
• Megaburn 120 mg capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
