About Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension:
Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.
Each 5 ml of the reconstituted suspension of Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 400 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 57 mg.
This pack also contains one ampoule of 30 ml Sterile water for Reconstitution.
Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.
Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.
Uses of Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension:
Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), skin & skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections in children.
Usage Direction of Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension:
- Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension is for paediatric use only.
- Reconstitute the Mega CV Forte 457 mg Suspension as per the physician's direction & also check the package instructions.
- Any extra portion left to be thrown away.
- Shake well before use.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
- Please check the package insert leaflet for additional information.
