About Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup:

Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.

Each 5 ml of the reconstituted suspension of Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 200 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg.

This pack also contains one ampoule of 30 ml Sterile Water for Reconstitution.

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.

Uses of Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup:

Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), skin & skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections in children.

Usage Direction of Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup:

  • Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Reconstitute the Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup as per the physician's direction & also check the package insert leaflet.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Please use the measuring cap that comes with the package for accurate measurement.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
  • Please follow the instructions on the package insert leaflet for additional information.

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Mega CV 228.5 mg Dry Syrup.
