About Meaxon 1500 mcg Injection:

Meaxon 1500 mcg Injection belongs to the group of vitamins known as cobalamins, which are used to treat and prevent certain types of anemia and neuropathy caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. It contains mecobalmin, an active form of vitamin B12 that promotes the production of red blood cells, thereby works effectively on the anaemic conditions such as Megaloblastic anemia, and Pernicious anaemia. It plays a role in nucleic acid protein synthesis and prevents nerve degeneration, making it beneficial for peripheral neuropathy and its symptoms.

Composition:

Each Ampoule (Amber coloured) Contains:

Mecobalamin (equivalent to anhydrous Mecobalamin): 1500 mcg (Light Sensitive), Excipients: q.s., Water for Injection: q.s.

• Meaxon 1500 mcg Injection is intended for parenteral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Do not skip or stop using the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not apply more than the recommended dose.
• Before using, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

• If allergic to any ingredients of Meaxon 1500 mcg Injection, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant application of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
