About Lumerax Dry Syp:

Lumerax Dry Syrup is a combination of two antimalarial medications, indicated to manage acute uncomplicated malarial infections.

Each 5 ml (after reconstitution) contains Artemether 20 mg, Lumefantrine 120 mg.  

Artemether belongs to a class of antimalarial medicines. It acts by interacting with heme (a byproduct of hemoglobin degradation) in the parasite. This interaction results formation of toxic substances, responsible for the death of the parasite.

Lumefantrine belongs to a class of antimalarial medicines. It inhibits the formation of a non-toxic product (ß-hematin) in a parasite by forming a complex with heme (a byproduct of hemoglobin degradation) which leads to the death of the parasites.

Use of Lumerax Dry Syp:

Lumerax Dry Syrup is prescribed for the management of malarial infections.

Usage Direction of Lumerax Dry Syp:

• Lumerax Dry Syrup is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Direction for reconstitution: Fill with freshly boiled and cooled water up to the mark on the bottle.
• Swirl and shake vigorously and adjust the volume up to the mark.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Lumerax Dry Syp:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Lumerax Dry Syrup, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this syrup with any other medicines or supplements.
• The constituted solution must be used within one week after preparation.
• For pediatric use.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Lumerax Dry Syp:

Store in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.
