About Ludura Cream:
Ludura cream is an antifungal cream intended for topical dermatological use only. Ludura cream contains Luliconazole 1.0% w/w in a cream base. The active ingredient Luliconazole is an antifungal that belongs to the azole class.
Use of Ludura Cream:
Ludura cream is indicated for the topical treatment of cutaneous mycosis, i.e tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis in patients 18 years of age and older.
Usage direction of Ludura Cream:
- Ludura cream should be applied topically as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will decide the right amount and the duration of use as per the patient condition.
- Application of Ludura cream should be kept away from the eyes, nose or angles of the mouth.
Precaution & Related Information of Ludura Cream:
- Do not use Ludura cream if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in the product. If irritation develops, Ludura cream should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted. Therapy should be discontinued when control is achieved.
- The cream is for external use only. In case of use on the face, avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water.
- Safety and effectiveness of Ludura cream in paediatric patients have not been established.
- Dose selection for an elderly patient should be cautious.
- Pregnancy and Lactation: Pregnancy Category C. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of luliconazole 1%, in pregnant women. It should be used during pregnancy only if potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the foetus.
