About Lorvas Tablet:

Lorvas tablet belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics and is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

Each film coated Lorvas tablet contains Indapamide 2.5 mg.

Indapamide is a diuretic with similar effects as thiazides. It enhances the excretion of sodium, chloride and extra water by interfering with the transport of sodium ions across the renal tubular epithelium to lower the blood pressure.

Use of Lorvas Tablet:

Lorvas tablet is prescribed for treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It also reduces excess fluid levels in the body and treats edema (fluid retention) associated with heart, liver, kidney, or lung disease.

Usage direction of Lorvas Tablet:

• Lorvas tablet should be taken orally.
• Lorvas tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Lorvas Tablet:

Store in a dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protected from light.
