Loram 2.5 mg Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure.
Each film-coated Loram 2.5 mg Tablet contains Losartan Potassium 50 mg and Ramipril 2.5 mg.
Losartan and Ramipril are both an antihypertensive class of medications.
Losartan belongs to a class of angiotensin-II receptor antagonists. It acts by inhibiting the binding of a substance, Angiotensin-II with receptors, causing the blood vessels to relax, which leads to a reduction in blood pressure.
Ramipril belongs to a class of ACE inhibitors (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitors). It acts by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme and relaxes the blood vessels, thereby, lowering the blood pressure.
