About Logout SR Capsule:

Logout SR capsule is prescribed to treat or prevent gout.

Each Logout SR capsule contains Allopurinol Sustained Release Pellets equivalent to Allopurinol 250 mg.

Allopurinol inhibits xanthine oxidase, the enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of hypoxanthine to xanthine then to uric acid. It acts on purine catabolism, reducing the production of uric acid without disrupting the biosynthesis of vital purines.

Use of Logout SR Capsule:

Logout SR capsule is a xanthine oxidase enzyme inhibitor that is used for the management of:

  • Excessive uric acid level in the blood
  • Signs and symptoms of primary or secondary gout
  • Recurrent calcium oxalate calculi

Logout SR capsule is also used in cancer therapy-induced hyperuricemia.

Usage direction of Logout SR Capsule:

  • Logout SR capsule should be taken orally.
  • Logout SR capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
