About LCD 125 Tablet:
LCD 125 Tablet is a combination medication, indicated for the symptomatic relief of Parkinson’s disease.
Each uncoated tablet contains Levodopa 100 mg, Carbidopa (anhydrous) 25 mg.
Levodopa is a metabolic precursor of dopamine which is converted to dopamine in the brain by enzymes and helps to relieve the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
Carbidopa is an aromatic amino acid decarboxylase inhibitor. By preventing the breakdown of levodopa in the bloodstream, it helps levodopa enter the brain more easily.
Use of LCD 125 Tablet:
LCD 125 Tablet is prescribed for the symptomatic relief of muscle stiffness, and tremor (uncontrollable shaking movement in one or more parts of the body) associated with Parkinson’s disease.
Usage Direction of LCD 125 Tablet:
- LCD 125 Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- LCD 125 Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
