About Lantus Injection 100 IU/ml 3 ml Cartridge :
Lantus is a long-acting insulin used to control high blood sugar in adults with Diabetes Mellitus, contains Monocomponent Insulin Glargine 100IU/ml.
Use of Lantus Injection 100 IU/ml 3 ml Cartridge :
Lantus is a long-acting insulin analog indicated to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Usage direction of Lantus Injection 100 IU/ml 3 ml Cartridge :
- Use Lantus as per physician's advice.
- Do not stop,change or skip the dose.
- Before using Lantus know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper usage direction please follow instruction in package leaflet.
- Administer Lantus subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
- Check the insulin to make sure it is clear and colorless. Do not use Lantus if it is colored or cloudy, or if you see particles in the solution.
Precaution & Related information of Lantus Injection 100 IU/ml 3 ml Cartridge :
- Never share a Lantus pen, syringe, or needle between patients.
- Please take precaution during the use of Lantus in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
- Do not use Lantus after the expiration date stamped on the label or 28 days after you first use it.
- Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
- If taking any other medication or supplement please inform physician.
- If find any other complication inform physician immediately.
- Consult with the physician durintg pregnancy & lactation.
- Storage : Lantus should not be stored in the freezer and should not be allowed to freeze. Discard Lantus if it has been frozen. Protect Lantus from direct heat and light.
- Store 2°C to 8°C until expiry date in case unopened vial or cartridge.
- Store below 30°C for 28 days in case unopened vial or cartridge.
- Store below 30°C for 28 days in case opened vial or cartridge in use.
