About Ivepred 125 mg Injection:

Each vial of Ivepred 125 mg Injection contains Methylprednisolone sodium succinate equivalent to Methylprednisolone 125 mg and Excipients q.s.

Ivepred 125 mg Injection is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulation properties. It binds to and activates specific nuclear receptors, resulting in altered gene expression and inhibition of proinflammatory cytokine production. It also decreases the number of circulating lymphocytes, induces cell differentiation, and stimulates apoptosis in sensitive tumour cell populations.

Use of Ivepred 125 mg Injection:

Ivepred 125 mg Injection is a steroid medicine with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties, which prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

 Ivepred 125 mg Injection is used for the treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions such as severe allergic conditions, anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive conditions, severe asthmatic conditions, blood or bone marrow disorders, pain & swelling associated with the rheumatic disorder, and other steroid-responsive disorders.

Usage direction of Ivepred 125 mg Injection:

  • Ivepred 125 mg Injection is intended for intramuscular and intravenous use only.
  • For reconstitution refer package insert.
  • Bacteriostatic water for injection 0.9% w/v, 4 ml as diluent supplied free with pack.
  • Physician will advise the right dose & duration of administration of Ivepred 125 mg Injection as per the patient’s condition. Kindly do not self-administer.
  • Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before administration.
  • Dispose the needle after use.

Precaution & Related information of Ivepred 125 mg Injection:

  • Not for use in newborns.
  • Hypersensitive or allergic to Methylprednisolone or any other type of reaction after being given Ivepred 125 mg Injection, or any other medicine containing a corticosteroid or any of the ingredients in this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
  • Do not accept if seal is broken.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Ivepred 125 mg Injection:

Store below 25ºC.
