Istaphase MG1 Tablet is an oral anti diabetic medication, which is used as a third-line treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). It is prescribed when lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, and previous treatment with one or two oral anti diabetic medications, fail to control blood sugar levels effectively. Type 2 diabetes can lead to serious complications, such as heart attack and stroke, as well as kidney damage, nerve damage, vision problems, slow wound healing, etc. Istaphase MG1 Tablet plays an important role by enhancing the body's response to insulin or increasing the body's production of insulin, thereby reducing the risk of these potentially debilitating symptoms.

Istaphase MG1 Tablet is a combination of three oral antidiabetic drugs: glimepiride, voglibose, and metformin. Together, they help improve glycemic control in type II diabetes mellitus patients.

Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, lowers blood sugar by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that slows the digestion of complex carbohydrates in the small intestine and reduces the rapid rise in blood glucose after meals (postprandial hyperglycemia). Meanwhile, metformin, a biguanide, works by decreasing the liver's glucose production, slowing glucose absorption in the intestines, and enhancing the body's response to insulin.

• Usage Direction

Take Istaphase MG1 Tablet exactly as your doctor prescribes, and follow the recommended dosage and schedule. Istaphase MG1 should be swallowed as a whole without crushing, chewing, or breaking it, and ideally at the same time each day. Do not stop or alter the dose of Istaphase MG1 Tablet without consulting your doctor, as this may prevent you from achieving the desired outcome. • Missed Dose
