About Intaprost Eye Drops:
Intaprost Eye Drops is used to reduce intraocular pressure in the eyes.
Each Intaprost Eye Drops contains Bimatoprost 0.3% w/v, Benzalkonium chloride solution 0.02% w/v (As preservative) and Sterile Aqueous Base q.s.
Bimatoprost is a synthetic prostamide analogue, which imitates the effects of prostamides, specifically prostaglandin F2alpha. It reduces elevated intraocular pressure and decreases the risk of optic nerve damage by increasing aqueous humor outflow. It also increases the percent and duration of the growth phase of the eyelashes hair.
Use of Intaprost Eye Drops:
Intaprost Eye Drops is prescribed for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is also used for the treatment of hypotrichosis of the eyelashes by increasing their growth including length, thickness, and darkness.
Usage direction of Intaprost Eye Drops:
- Intaprost Eye Drops is intended for ophthalmic use only.
- As per the patient’s conditions, the physician/Ophthalmologist will advise the proper dose and the duration of the application.
- Before applying this eye drop, wash hands first.
- It is advised to check the label or package insert leaflet before apply.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity.
- Replace the cap after every use.

- Intaprost Eye Drops is for external use only, not for injection.
- If allergic to Intaprost Eye Drops, inform the physician immediately.
- If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
- If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult with the physician.
