About Insulatard Flexpen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen:
Insulatard Flexpen is a Isophane insulin injection. 1 pre-filled pen contains 3 ml equivalent to 300 international units. 1 ml suspension contains 100 international units Isophane (NPH) insulin human (equivalent to 3.5 mg).
Use of Insulatard Flexpen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen:
Insulatard Flexpen is prescribed for the treatment Diabetes Mellitus.
Usage direction of Insulatard Flexpen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen:
- Always use your insulin and adjust your dose exactly as your physician advised you.
- Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
- Inject your dose of Insulatard Flexpen under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Insulatard Flexpen into a muscle or vein.
- Insulatard should be clear and colorless. Do not use Insulatard if it contains particles is cloudy and discoloured, or if the container is cracked or damaged.
- Do not skip or change the dose without doctor’s advice.
Precaution & Related information of Insulatard Flexpen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen:
- Needles, syringes, cartridges and pre-filled-pens must not be shared.
- Please take precaution during the use of Insulatard Flexpen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
- If you are taking any other medications & any other supplement please inform your physician.
- Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy & lactation.
- Storage: Before opening - Store in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C). Do not freeze. During use - Store below 25°C up to 4 weeks.
- Insulatard which has been frozen must not be used.
